Feathers

Yes feathers were in and out as fast a you could say pudding, but they still kick up some flare to an outfit. They do not always have to be in your hair, they can be earrings, printed on a shirt, on a necklace, and more. I love feathers I think they are very boho looking. And that's why I'm here to show you some amazing ways to wear them. The best place I seem to find feathers in the most updated form would be at Forever 21. They have amazing stuff there. Where I live we just got our Forever 21 in about a year ago and it is two stories and crazy huge. It's is literally a wonderland for girls! Anyways let's get back to the topic-feathers. Feathers are great for dinner date or for shopping days either way they really do look great. Too much feather scares people! People will look over at you and run thinking an ostrich got loose or something. So remember to keep your feathers max of one or two to an earring, three or four to a necklace, and make sure that if you are wearing a shirt with feathers printed on it that it really isn't to many. Let's hope that we all know how to keep our feathers to a minimum. Thanks for reading - Love Madi

Body language

It's is sad that a lot of young girls and even some women do not know how to carry themselves. Slouching is symbolized in many ways. It can be classified as disrespectful, inattentive, mad, and sometimes sick. Not everyone has a mother, grandmother, father, or someone in their life that can teach them this is not a good thing to do. So I'm here to the rescue. Bad body language is not always intended but happens quite often. If you stand tall and hold your shoulders back it does show a sense of confidence, respect, attentiveness ,wellness, and awareness.
Sometimes it's not the slouching that is being done, but your simply not sitting up. Sitting up does show that you care about the topic being discussed, even if you couldn't care less. This shows others that you have respect.
This section goes to all ladies. It is about keeping your legs closed. You do not have to be wearing a skirt or dress to keep your legs closed. You could be wearing jeans or shorts, but you need to hold your legs together!!!! If you are with some girl-friends at the house yeah you don't need to keep them locked tight, but when you are around others especially men then you need to keep your legs closed. This shows that you have respect for yourself and others. So beauty does not have to be all about your hair and make up, but how you keep yourself, and how you carry yourself.

Healthy eyes!!

We all worry about what eye shadows work best with our eye color, but only few worry about the best way to keep your eyes healthy. When riding in the car or laying by the pool remember to protect them eye balls. Sunglasses and water will keep your eyes from yellowing and loosing that perfect 20 20 vision. If your like me and are blind as a bat then either purchase prescription sunglasses, transition glasses, or buy cheap cute glasses with contacts. I know it seems like a few extra dollars, but in the long run you will be paying more money if your not doing these things. You'll either be paying for laser eye surgery or more expensive glasses. So drink water and protect your eyes! Plus it's such a cute way to dress up an outfit!!

Cute, easy French tips that look fresh from the salon

It is so easy to do French tips! There are stickers to keep you in line, but the way I'm going to show you is so much simpler! I used China Glaze White on White for the tips and Seche Vite as my top coat. You will need those polishes, and a nail art brush with about the same width as your thumb, a glass cup/bowl, and nail polish remover. Optional would be rhinestones and silver/glitter polish with a skinny brush. To prep your nails push back your cuticles, file your nails, remove old polish, and clean. First apply China Glaze White on White polish to the tips of your nails(it doesn't have to look pretty just yet). Take your remover and pour a little in the glass that you had, take your brush and remove the bottom part of the tip to make your tip look pretty. Small strokes work as well as upward motions and downward motions. Let dry. Now take your silver glitter polish and go right beneath the tip with a small line of glitter. Now start with your thumbs on applying top coat. After applying top coat to your thumb quickly add your rhinestone. Let dry. Now reapply top coat to your thumb and the rest of your nails. Wha la your done!!! You have perfect nails that look like they just came from the salon!

First Blog!

I'm so glad to be blogging now! Set your expectations high because I will be blogging about the latest trends from nails, to hair, to whatever you like! Just comment on this post or any other post about what you want me to do a segment on. The fist thing is what I am wearing now on my fingers... Sally Hansen Salon Effects in "Girl Flower"(I'll leave a picture above). The Sally Hansen Salon Effects leaves behind an amazing set of nails that would be practically impossible to do by hand. The thing that I love most about this product is how simple it is to use. You just simply peel, stick, and tear! The packaging is great too, it comes with great instructions and all the things that you need like... a cuticle stick, nail file, and the strips of course!
